Marty, a third-generation jewelry retailer, founded MVI in 1987 and together with Liz Chatelain (partner and roommate) they have grown the company into a successful international organization. MVI provides consumer and trade market research, strategic consulting and digital marketing services to a global client list in the luxury space.
"Humans have been adorning themselves for over 135,000 years," says Chatelain, "what drives humans to desire, give, and wear jewelry is the foundation of our consumer and trade level research."
Being the daughter of a lapidaries, gave Liz an early start in understanding the industry from the ground up. Having work for a major retailer and jewelry designer early in her career exposed her to all aspects of what it takes to bring product to market and then sell it thru to consumers.
With over 15 years in Sales and Marketing, specializing in business relationships and development, Theresa knows what truly drives conversions and fosters productive relationships with clients. She is MVI's go to person for our internal marketing initiatives. Her drive to achieve set goals and deliver a personally focused solution for her clients is outstanding.
In 2007 Theresa also established her own training company providing training and coach-mentoring services.
Research Project Manager
As a senior consultant with world-class consulting organizations, Sallie managed dozens of million-dollar projects and cross-functional teams; she brings those project management skills to manage MVI’s consumer and trade level projects.
Sallie was also a business owner for over 15 years, which contributed to her can-do approach to any project. “You can’t be a small business owner without the willingness to jump in wherever needed.” That can-do attitude is welcomed in a nimble firm like MVI.
